Our 2007 Knitting and Gardens Tour of the Lake District & York was one of the best yet - ten days of total knit immersion with kindred spirits! It’s always great to spend time with other knitters but extra special to be able to take time to get to know people gradually. We certainly had a fun and fabulous group this year, and it feels good to think the seeds have been sown for many new and lasting friendships. It was a great mix of people and you could feel the buzz in the group. We had such a great time - knit, sang, walked, talked and partied, as well as the generous daily sharing of knit knowledge. An inspiring group, each member contributing something unique. Reluctantly, we’re all back to earth again now with so many miles between us all, but I still feel inspired and excited by fabulous memories of a great trip – so much so that we’re already planning two tours for next year. A big thank you and a huge hug to all of you who came and to everyone who helped make the tour such a success!
