I'm thrilled to announce my new book, Sweet Shawlettes - a collection of 25 projects, including shawls, capes, wraps, collars and cowls!

Arranged in four chapters - Country, Couture, Folk & Vintage, with projects to suit all skill levels. Techniques showcased include entrelac, shadow knitting, lace, aran, cables, fairisle, intarsia, modular and beaded knitting amongst others, allowing you to practice on a small project without the commitment of a larger piece. NB Some knitters have asked about the piece on the cover. The model is wearing Cruz, a mobius strip, which is knitted in the round with a twist. As with all scarves, it can be worn in various ways - around the neck, the shoulders or the head, as in this case. The dimensions of Cruz are given in the pattern in three sizes – the one on the cover is the small size and it’s wrapped around the model’s head twice
